Why Are Tankinis So Appealing?
Thursday, August 13th, 2009When a woman shops for a swimsuit, what is it that she’s looking for? Is it the best fit, the best deal, the best look, the best style, the trendiest new cut? I, for one, would go with great fit. That, almost always is the number one concern for the average woman. With a tankini, companies have made it mandatory to purchase separate pieces, the bottom and the top. Why?
If I need to answer that, you’re probably not a woman who wears bathing suits. Any suit-wearing woman knows the answer, and can sympathize with other women about the dilemma we all face shopping for beachwear.
Tankinis are the only style making much sense for the women. Who after all has found the perfect one-piece suit to fit all body shapes? Not one. Might I add that no research was required of me to make that statement.
Women also have suits for different occasions. She may want one to wear in the privacy of her own home and a separate one to wear in public places. The good thing about tankinis is that you can actually coordinate them with your favorite outfit and wear them simultaneously for the perfect combination of public and private.
You can even wear the full top with your less than full bottoms at home. Go with a longer skirt to go over top while in public, and you can change it up to add a skimpier top to the skirted bottoms for a nice change. The options are endless with tankinis.
People are turning to tankinis because they offer swimsuit solutions that were previously unavailable in any type of suit. I personally love tankinis.
Be aware though that finding a tankini that fits just right might still be an issue. My guess is that after shopping for just a few minutes, you’ll find what you want. If all else fails, just abandon that lines and the crowds and hop online.
By finding your tankini online, you’re saving money, shopping quickly, and getting what you want, how you want it. That’s my kind of shopping. What’s more, you don’t have to try on your suit in front of the nearest onlooker. I’ll take that benefit any day.
