Samsung” today announced the launch of Samsung Blue Earth, an environmentally friendly mobile phone with a full touch screen. First showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, Blue Earth is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM), which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions during the manufacturing process. The device, including the charger, is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants (BFR), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Phthalate. Samsung Blue Earth is launching in Sweden in October and will soon launch in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and other European and Asian countries.
The latest in a series of eco-friendly products, Blue Earth comes with a unique user interface which is designed to draw attention to preserving our fragile environment. With “Eco mode,” screen brightness, backlight duration and Bluetooth can be set to an energy-efficient mode with just one click.
The “Eco Walk” function allows users to count their steps with a built in pedometer and calculate the reduction in CO2 emission realized by walking as opposed to using a motor vehicle. This unique function allows users to see the value of walking by calculating the number of trees that have been saved.
Blue Earth comes with a 5 star energy efficient charger which uses only 0.03W of power in standby mode. As part of the Voluntary Agreement of European Commission IPP (Integrated Product Policy) pilot program, Samsung has agreed to start showing ratings on energy consumption on the no-load mode of the mobile device charger. Furthermore, by charging with the solar panel located on the back of the phone, users can generate enough power to use the device anytime and anywhere.
Samsung Blue Earth Specifications:

The transformation of peoples reading experience these days is probably a phenomenal contribution in the history of technological advancement. Individuals used to hold a paper-made book and start reading through its pages. This time, there is no more thumbing over the pages of your favourite books as Amazon designed a totally new reading device called the Kindle eBook Reader. With this electronic book reader, reading experience is a lot more convenient and easy for everyone.
Amazon Kindle is an electronically controlled book reader which serves as the modern alternative for the printed and bound books. Amazon made the original Kindle, and later on introduced the much more enhanced Kindle 2. It comes with a remarkable portable size at 0.9 cm, which now weighs at 0.3 kilogram. You can imagine how light the device is and how easy it is to be brought anywhere you go. The second edition of Kindle is more advanced than the original Kindle.
The original Kindle for sure had some downsides and limitations. Thus, it has been upgraded to Kindle 2 to feature a much improved performance, better internal memory, built-in speakers and the text-to-speech audio reading addition. The device keyboard has been designed to become much easier to navigate. The keys are in circular shape and the space bar has been made longer. With the easy-to-use keyboard, you will be able to enter some notes while reading, keying in text for searches at the Kindle store and typing in the URLs upon surfing the web.
The text on the device is very legible to read on because they are using e-Ink technology. E-ink enables the words and letters look like the ones people read from the bound books. For this reason, your eyes will be protected from any possible defects. With the new Kindle 2, individuals are given the option to adjust the text font size into six different levels. The purpose of this is to provide the users with different choices to pick from.
The free built-in wireless connection called Whispernet makes Kindle 2 unique. It allows the users to access the site on where to buy Kindle 2. With Whispernet, customers will get to quickly download books from Kindle store and files are sent to the machine in just a few minutes. The new version of Kindle is definitely the answer to speed-up the process of getting your desired books to read. With the wireless connection, users can shop, buy and download books right on the Kindle 2 device.
This second version of Amazon Kindle is very useful especially to those people who travel a lot. They dont need to load themselves with paper-made books when travelling. All they should do is purchase a handy and more importantly a user-friendly machine such as Kindle 2. There is actually a lot to appreciate with this upgraded Kindle. Amazon has indeed given the people with a whole new different reading experience.

As with most things modern, reading is inevitably trending towards being e-based. It starts with the shopping, ordering and then receiving (downloading) of the books. All this is accomplished in one go online in a matter of minutes. Even the reading proper is hi-tech. It is reading made easy by technology and if it could ‘change Oprah’s life’, it will change yours too when you Buy Kindle 2.
Plenty of new-brand e-book readers are coming onto the bandwagon fast and furious but the safest bet is still placed with the long established top two players: the Amazon Kindle and Sony PRS respectively. Between them they dominate the market and deservedly so. With the launch of the Kindle 2, the talk in reading circles is that Amazon has put itself in a league solely of its own drawing away even from the Sony PRS.
The Amazon Kindle 2 electronic reader is engineered to download blogs, books, newspapers, and magazines. Periodicals are automatically sent to the device. Technology has afforded us with a very practical alternative to holding a book, magazine or other reading material and turning from one page to another. The Amazon Kindle is indeed powerful and is only surpassed by its successor the Kindle 2.
The trademark feature of the Kindle reader has to be its Whispernet wireless service. So far, it’s the only eBook reader equipped with this facility. Readers are in constant touch with the bookstore and subscriptions plus synchronized with other devices associated with their Kindles through its Whispersync network and all this for free by Amazon. The service is powered by 3G technology so it doesn’t have to be within any hotspot zone to be functional.
Yes, the Amazon Kindle eBook Reader is but a book. And what a book! It’s any book you wish, out of 275,000 and you can carry more than a thousand of them everywhere you go and access the rest in less than 60 seconds. Amazon has publicly stated its goal of availing any book that’s ever printed in electronic form for the Kindle within the US. That’s a tall order but based on their track record, you don’t want to bet against it.

We evaluate the Panasonic Real Pro Ultra in 5 categories including Warranty & Customer Service, Comfort/Ergonomics, Ease of Use, Features and Massage Therapy. Each individual category is given equal weight of 20 potential points. This systematic approach helps to present massage chairs from the same vantage point to help make comparison easier. If you are looking for a massage chair, then check out the Real Pro Ultra. The model EP 30003 is a mid range model.
Warranty & Customer Service: It is important that the manufacturer stand behind its product and provides good customer service. Panasonic has 1 year labor and 3 year parts. Panasonic uses a counter to monitor the machine hours. The warranty will expire after 1,000 hours of use. Panasonic has average warranty coverage. Customer service is through your retailer or national service centers. Service time and quality is variable and dependent on where service is obtained. Our Rating in this category is 16.
Comfort & Ergonomics: Ergonomics is the practical element of design for comfort and fit of the body. The massage chair is built for relaxation, so the design must assist in getting the user comfortable and within reach. Panasonic takes ergonomics serious and does a solid job with the Real Pro Ultra. The back pad is plush, with an adjustable head pillow. The armrests are padded. The remote is fairly simple and intuitive for a massage chair. One area that is lacking is a footrest extension. This chair was not originally designed for the American market, so taller users may not fit as well. We rate this chair as a 17 for ergonomics. The head pillow can be adjusted to fit different heights of users. The arm rests are padded and are fairly wide. The footrest does not extend, so this can be problematic for taller users. Taller users would have to bend their knees to get a foot massage or extend the footrest horizontal to and put their legs through. Our rating in this category is 17.
Ease of Use: With more and more features, options and choices being offered in massage chairs, ease of use is important. Some remote controls are clustered with a mind boggling array of controls. The problem is to learn all these options. The top manufacturers design controls and adjustments to be intuitive and easy to understand and use. Panasonic has vast experience with electronics and uses that to keep its controls simple and intuitive. The control is well designed and the descriptions accurate to keep learning fast. We rate it an 18 for this category.
Key Features: The Real Pro Ultra by Panasonic has an pressure point sensor and the exclusive Junetsu massage therapy. The human body has around 350 pressure points. There are almost 100 for the back, neck and shoulders. The EP 30003 has a body scan to sense these pressure points. It then tailors the shiatsu style massage to the individual user. Panasonic also developed the Junetsu massage therapy into this model. The Junetsu uses firm pressure with a penetrating circular motion for the back. This is a unique massage offered only by Panasonic. We give the EP 30003 an 18 in this category.
Massage Therapy: The lower body air massage has 14 strategically placed air bags. These air bags cover the calves and feet. It also includes the foot reflexology massage. The really fine kneading is a new feature by Panasonic called Junetsu. This massage penetrates deeply providing effective relief. At the top of the control there are 5 automatic programs which include: Refresh, Shiatsu, Deep, Swedish and Stretch. You can also select from 4 manual massage techniques and choose 4 manual massage courses. Manual controls include tapping, kneading, rolling and combination. This midrange model scores a 19 rating.
Ok, the moment of truth. The overall rating for the Panasonic EP 30003 is an 88/100. This is a solid rating for a solid chair. The Real Pro Ultra is a good performer in the mid range massage chair market. The reflexology foot massage and the addition of Junetsu massage is great value at this price point. The warranty is OK. You would hope for better protection from Panasonic, so check out an extended warranty. This is a long term investment for your health. If you are tall, then you may want to try this chair to see how well you fit. If you are looking for a mid range shiatsu massage chair recliner then this could be a good choice for you.

Traditionally, shiatsu massage has been performed by skilled therapists to ease and relieve aches and pains throughout the body. The evolution of technology includes robotic massage chairs capable to imitate a shiatsu massage therapist. The most advanced models locate acupressure points by making a scan of the body. The chair then accurately pinpoints an individual’s acupressure points. These shiatsu massage chairs can deliver a full body shiatsu massage including the acupressure points which induce whole body relaxation.
Shiatsu in the literally sense is composed of shi (finger) and atsu (pressure) or simply finger pressure. Finger pressure massage is utilitzed to regulate the flow of energy in the body. A shiatsu massage induces deep relaxation, increases the energy flow and brings the body back into balance. The shiatsu massage technique employs rhythmic, gradual pressure and stretching. Shiatsu also applies pressure to specific points in the body. Shiatsu is believed to manipulate the flow of energy in the body, restoring balance and well being. Effective shiatsu massage increases the energy flow while inducing deep relaxation to bringsthe natural balance back.
Traditionally, this massage has been performed by skilled humans as an alternative medicine. With the evolution of technology, these shiatsu techniques have been incorporated into mechanical systems. These mechanical systems have been integrated into a chair which are today’s shiatsu massage chairs. With the advance of electronics and software controls, subtle human movements and techniques are replicated very effectively into these massage chairs.
Applying gentle pressure to acupressure points throughout the body relaxes and brings tranquility to the body. Shiatsu Massage chairs have mechanical systems capable of replicating the movement of the thumbs, hand and fingers. These mechanized fingers provide shiatsu therapy from gentle or firm and with low or high pressure to suite individual needs. Typical massage motions in shiatsu include rubbing, kneading, percussion and vibration.
Shiatsu massage chairs help to relieve many conditions, ailments and symptoms. Do not suffer any longer and find relief to many ailments and symptoms with a shiatsu massage chair. It can help stimulate circulation and improve skin health. Use a shiatsu massage to reduce muscle pain and soreness, or warm down after physical activity. Increase stamina because a shiatsu massage metabolizes fat to increase nutrition flow.
Shiatsu has many beneficial results whether performed by man or machine. Human hands and touch are very unique and to imitate exactly is very complex. It is hard to beat the touch of a human. But like everything, shiatsu massage chairs have their place. They offer 24/7 access and no appointment is needed. Some of the best ones come with a music player to help one relax during the massage treatment. Most important is to find treatment and do not allow ailments to persist. Having a shiatsu massage chair provides important therapies in the convenience of home.

So many media types exist today that it can be daunting to find a media player that does it all. Sony sought to change that by releasing the BDP-S560 Blu-ray disc player to the public. Able to play just about any popular media, it has quickly become one of the most popular media players on the current market.
For those who aren’t hip on the Blu-ray story, you might be surprised to hear that none other than Sony actually created the new format. As such, they had to create a media player that would the media. It has given the company somewhat of a monopoly over their own self-created market. And as luck would have it, movie distributors have supported the Blu-ray format completely- giving customers a wide selection of media.
The Sony BDP-S560 is a great pick for your first time looking at a Blu-ray disc player. This model features a backwards compatibility feature that will even allow you to play all of the DVD formats in your collection- so you won’t have to throw them away and buy them again. Played through the superior video format, they will also look better when played on the Blu-ray disc player.
Sony set out to create an intuitive user interface when releasing the Sony BDP-S560. Most would say they accomplished it after releasing what is called the “Xross Media Bar.” This media bar is much like the one found in the PlayStation 3 video game console, yet it has been modified to operate with Blu-ray discs and other media formats.
Sony also realized that the picture quality and storage options wasn’t what made the movie experience- but rather the sound had a large part to play. Sony, thus, decided to give the player compatibility with Dolby TrueHD, which is the next big format in sound quality and design. The format will essentially allow those with high definition audio to feel as if they are in a movie theater- without the ticket price of course.
Ports are important for getting a device to hook up with another and share information. Sony included just about every port there is to ensure that if there is a need for the device to hook up to anything, the option to do it will be there. A rather odd port for a media player, the Ethernet port, has even been included to network your Sony BDP-S560 to other devices supporting the standard. It’s innovation like this that really puts the frosting on the cake for consumers.
Closing Comments
The Sony BDP-S560 Blu-Ray disc player has certainly set the bar for how media is played in the home entertainment industry. Look on the Internet to see how you can get your own for an inexpensive price today.

In the past decade or so, there had been many failed attempts at making our reading become smoother and faster. That’s until online book retailer Amazon came along and again made the difference in enhancing the reading experience, with a reading device called the Kindle electronic book reader. In deft fashion, its extraordinary features for reading are complemented by its novel way of acquiring the very content when you Buy Kindle 2.
The Kindle eBook Reader is engineered to download blogs, books, newspapers, and magazines. Periodicals are automatically sent to the device. Technology has afforded us with a very practical alternative to holding a book, magazine or other reading material and turning from one page to another. The Amazon Kindle is indeed powerful and is only surpassed by its successor the Kindle 2.
The Kindle Electronic Book Reader is designed to operate on its own. It is connected directly to the Amazon Whispernet through 3G technology for media flow, synching and even internet browsing. There’s no service plan, contracts or bills to worry about because this feature is paid for by Amazon. About the only cost upon the user is power consumption on the battery; recharging every 4 to 5 days of continuous operation as opposed to 2 weeks with the wireless turned off.
Whispernet is also Amazon’s wireless delivery system. If you have a book in mind that you want to read, you can obtain it within a minute via this system. Customers are also allowed to download and go through the first few pages of the books for free. If you decide to buy it, you can then proceed to purchase and download it with a single click directly on your Kindle. The Kindle is a compact paperback-sized reader and you can carry a library of books around with it but still travel light.
The best thing about when you Buy Kindle 2 wireless reader is its crisp black-and-white paper-like display. For an electronic screen, it’s very easy on the eyes especially for those who read for long periods. The display is based on the Vizplex version of E-ink technology with no backlighting. Reading is thus 100% natural in bright sunlight and you won’t have a problem with the screen getting too hot from reading too long either.
Furthermore, Whispernet makes use of Amazon’s optimized technology plus Sprint’s national high-speed (EVDO) data network for people to wirelessly search and download content, browse the internet and synch different devices from anywhere anytime. If you think the maiden Kindle portable Electronic Book Reader rocks, you simply have to check out the hugely improved Kindle 2.

For sure, the Kindle eBook Reader is lifestyle these days. It’s actually considered cool to be seen reading say on the subway or in a restaurant. With it, you’ll never run out of things to read. And if you like to read multiple books in parallel, this is your lucky day. They’re making their way into schools soon where dead-tree books have been eternally intrinsic. From any angle, the Kindle reader appears set to stay.
With the launch of Amazon Kindle 2 has integrated the entire business of e-reading. The eBook reader is not only filled with smart features, it’s also connected and mobile just like the cellular phone. It is essentially a cellular eBook reader in that it has wireless coverage anywhere in the US for Amazon bookstores plus browsing text-centric websites like Wikipedia, Google and others.
Besides the good looks, the new generation Kindle is also flush with supreme functional features. The ergonomics is superb too, having been ironed out of whatever shortcomings the original version endured. This technological marvel has now been packaged into a thing of beauty and functionality with accident-proof buttons, smooth rocker controls, standard keyboard and stylish overall layout.
Although the Kindle is likely to attract quite a bit of attention, that’s not the intention of the design upon the reader. The objective was in fact to get the reader ‘lost in your reading, not the technology’. It has so gallantly replicated the feature of a good physical book to disappear while you’re reading it but can’t put it down except it’s now can’t put the Kindle down.
The most distinctive feature of the Amazon eBook Reader is the Whispernet. This is a wireless service for acquiring content and some degree of internet access. It also carries the Whispersync feature which links other Kindles and its associated devices such as the iPhones and iPods plus others in the future. When you Buy Kindle 2, Amazon will pay for the lifetime connectivity of the particular e-reader. The network is 3G-based so it doesn’t have to be in a hotspot to operate.
Most Kindle review sites will not fail to mention 2 things: the price and the size of the library. At a cost of the better part of $ 400, it could be steep for some but if you’re into reading, the 275,000 books available will beckon at a discounted price. Whether it’s worth the money or not is an individual thing and if Amazon has its way, any book that’s ever printed will have an e-version for the Kindle in future. That’s a lot of books!

When the book retailer Amazon first came on the scene, it introduced the online bookstore to us. This time round, it has taken that move one step further by offering its merchandise in electronic form. All this is done through a new wireless reading device called the Amazon Kindle Electronic Book Reader. The stage is now set for complete electronic reading if you choose; yes, e-books electronically procured and read with an electronic reader.
The Kindle Electronic Book Reader is engineered to download blogs, books, newspapers, and magazines. Periodicals are automatically sent to the device. Technology has afforded us with a very practical alternative to holding a book, magazine or other reading material and turning from one page to another. The Amazon Kindle is indeed powerful and is only surpassed by its successor the Kindle 2.

There’s no service plan, contracts or bills to worry about because this feature is paid for by Amazon. About the only cost upon the user is power consumption on the battery; recharging every 4 to 5 days of continuous operation as opposed to 2 weeks with the wireless turned off.
Whispernet is Kindle’s dedicated wireless network. It carries the delivery system of its e-books and other reading materials. The service is practically instant. Within a minute of placing order, users can be reading away. The first few pages of the books are also available for sampling before deciding to buy. This wireless feature is currently not available outside the country but it shouldn’t be for long as the Kindle is meant for traveling.
The best thing about this wireless Amazon eBook Reader is its crisp black-and-white paper-like display. The maiden Kindle has been further enhanced into the Kindle 2. By seriously considering user feedback on the original Kindle, Amazon is gratefully able to come up with an even more impressive wireless reading device for its readers now.
