My Top 5 Xbox 360 Games of All-Time

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

It’s amazingly been 3 whole years since I bought my Xbox 360, and I thought I’d give a quick rundown about the best games I’ve ever owned. I have a slight partiality toward sports games, so there may be a bit of a bias here. Don’t hold it against me. Nonetheless, this is about my favorites, so whatever I say goes!

5- Tiger Woods golf. I’ve always been a huge fan of this series, dating back to my high school days when the game had first come out on the Playstation system. This is as real as it gets as far as golf games go, and amazingly, the game seems to improve each time they release a new version. I love it.

4- John Madden football. I don’t even know which year to choose, I love this game so much, but if we’re talking about the Xbox 360, we have to go with the most recent one, Madden 2010. This is an exceptional football game, and after getting it wrong during the first release for the 360, the Madden series has returned to its former glory.

3. Fight Night Round 3. A classic boxing game that came out right after the launch of the Xbox 360 console. Somehow, it still feels just as new and relevant today. How many games can you say that about four years later? Enough said.

2. Call of Duty 4. The very definition of online play was changed with this game, and it was all for the better. Multi-player gaming was never as fun as it was once this game came out, and I still can’t think of a game I’d rather play online.

1. Rock Band. This one may bug some pure “gamers”, but the most fun I’ve ever had on an Xbox 360 has come from playing Rock Band, hands down. Did I mention I’m a music lover too?
